English-language football coaching for children aged 4–12 in Amsterdam.

Established in 2010, The International Children's Football Academy (ICFA) provides structured, enjoyable football coaching for children of all abilities, from complete beginners to more experienced young players.

Unlike a traditional football club, ICFA operates as a football coaching academy, offering one lesson per week on Sundays at Powerleague Olympiaplein in Amsterdam Zuid. Our programme provides children with the opportunity to learn and develop their football skills without the commitment of multiple weekly training sessions or competitive league fixtures. Whether as a first introduction to football, an alternative to joining a football club, or additional coaching alongside existing club training, ICFA offers a flexible way for children to enjoy and develop their football skills.

At ICFA, we believe that learning football should be a positive and rewarding experience. Our child-centred approach places each child's individual development at the heart of everything we do, helping children build confidence, develop football skills and discover the enjoyment of participating in sport.

Our coaching programme draws on the academic training and extensive practical experience of our coaches, including their backgrounds in Sport Science. Through a progressive teaching methodology, children are introduced to new skills, given opportunities to practise and develop them, and encouraged to apply what they have learned in realistic football situations.

We offer four programmes, with lesson durations tailored to children's different stages of development:

- Minis: 45-minute lessons
- Junior Academy: 60-minute lessons
- Academy: 75-minute lessons
- Academy Plus: 90-minute lessons

To ensure children receive individual attention and appropriate coaching support, we maintain a maximum player-to-coach ratio of 14:1.

Our aim is simple: to give every child a positive experience of football and the confidence to enjoy sport throughout their lives.

• Minis - 2020 / 2021 birth dates - 5 vacancies at 9 am (45 minute classes)

• Academy - 2018 / 2019 birth date - 2 vacancies at 10.45 am (75 minute class)
